A sponsorship of the Global Excavation Safety Conference VIRTUAL is different from other events. We prioritize the participation of our sponsors and we have developed a program of sponsor activities that will drive activity for you. How?

Daily Networking: (CST)

  • 8:00 am – 8:45 am Networking Breakfast
  • 12:00 pm – 12:45 pm Networking Lunch

Delegates are encouraged to bring their breakfast or lunch and join one of multiple video networking rooms. Each networking room offers a different moderated topic of conversation and sponsors have the opportunity to moderate one or more networking chats depending on their sponsorship level. Sponsors can participate in the selection of their topic of conversation. Pre-registration is not required, but the number of participants may be restricted.

  • 4:00 pm – 4:45 pm Networking Chat

Each day ends with a casual networking event. Delegates are invited to bring their happy hour beverage of choice and join one of multiple video networking rooms. These day-end events are intended to be a relaxing and enjoyable interaction between colleagues and sponsors who choose an end-of-day networking event may create a fun, interactive activity or conversation. We encourage sponsors to consider a theme and pre-plan activities during this time. Pre-registration is not required, but the number of participants may be restricted. 

Sponsor Tech Talks and Demos

In our experience virtual expos have not been particularly effective for exhibitors, so we have chosen to eliminate the virtual exhibit hall. As a sponsor, you have the opportunity to offer scheduled tech talks or demos as part of the conference agenda. These events are recommended to be 15 minutes including live Q&A. We suggest pre-recording the actual presentation to eliminate technical glitches but have staff available to provide live Q&A.

These events are scheduled in your private showroom. The best way to ensure attendees choose to attend your sessions, and stay to the end, is to make the primary focus of your talk or demo educational. Of course, you are welcome to weave your sales message in, but it is more likely to resonate with attendees if the message is subtle or offered at the end of the presentation.

Attendees may choose to visit your showroom outside of scheduled tech talk/demo, so we recommend stocking your showroom with videos, documents for download, links to other web pages, surveys, message boards, or other self-service activities.

Many tech talks and demos scheduled during these hours (CST) will be included as part of the conference agenda. We will work with you to help build your showroom and the events and activities you wish to host. Your event(s) will be recorded and hosted on our Excavation Safety Alliance membership site (with your permission) post-event, providing long term exposure for you as well as the opportunity to link to your website.
